The better epitope- the less animals you have to immunize

There is always a question of how many animals you have to immunize. Standard - 2-3 rabbits and 4 mice per antigen is more or less accepted numbers to start with. However, you can predict with a relatively high accuracy how many animal a particular antigen requires. It's defined by antigen's antigenicity index.
